Christmas 2021 Menu

With the end of the year drawing closer we thought it would be a good time to present our Christmas menu. For the canapes we’ve still included some of our regulars, but with the addition of some Christmas classics; Devils on Horseback, Fig & Goats Cheese Parcels and the timeless Pigs in Blankets.

Pieminister have announced their Christmas line-up which you will find as a main option on our Pieminister Christmas Menu. Some favourites are returning this year providing the ultimate festive feast…

The Cracker

Free range turkey & ham pie with cranberry & parsnip

Deer Santa

Venison, bacon, red wine & green lentil pie

Mistle Moo

British beef steak, dry cured bacon & port pie

Christingle

Honey roast parsnip, chestnut, cheddar & leek pie (v)

The Good Elf

Vegan ‘turkey’, cranberry, port & thyme (vg)

All served with creamy mash, minted mushy peas & red wine gravy

We are also very excited to reveal our Thali Christmas curries, we have two new delicious curries lined up for the festive season, all served with the usual subji, dahl, basmati rice, yoghurt & Keralan salad. These can be found as the main course option under our Thali Christmas Menu.

Himalayan Chicken Curry

A warm slow cooked chicken in tomato sauce with nutmeg, star anise, clove and birds eye chilli spicy kick (gf)

Jackfruit Curry

A Southern creamy jackfruit curry with peppers, sesame seeds & coconut milk (vg/gf)

 

Finally we have our dessert options, which, like the canapes and starters, are available on both our Thali & Pieminister menus. These include a Baileys Cheesecake w/ Brandy Cream supplied by the incredible English Cheesecake Co. A Sticky Toffee Cake by Wild Flour, a lovely local bakery based in Bath. And our house-made classic Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse which never fails to disappoint.
