FAQs

What is the difference between table and buffet service?

Table service is where our team work off a table plan provided by you and the waiting staff will serve and clear one table at a time starting with the top table. For buffet service, the manager will call one table up at a time to a hot buffet station. Here our chefs will plate up the guests food in exchange for a tag that we will provide you with in advance. For both the waiting staff will clear all plates and cutlery for the guests.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We understand that you may have a variety of dietary requirements at your event. We aim to cater for all guests no matter what the dietary where possible.

Do you offer crockery, cutlery and glassware?

We can add crockery and cutlery to your quote, no problem. We also offer eco disposable options too. We do not offer glassware unfortunately.

My guest numbers may change nearer the time, is this okay?

We understand that your requirements and guest numbers may change. We do not lock in your guest numbers until one month prior to the event, when the 2nd invoice is due. By then you should have your final numbers confirmed.

Do you offer a drinks service?

We are happy to serve your reception drinks and table drinks as part of our packages with no corkage fee. If you would like us to staff a bar that you are providing, we can do that too! We do not charge corkage to serve the day time drinks.

We also work alongside a local bar company, Seamless Events, that we can arrange a cash, open or subsidised bar for you also to take the stress away from having to arrange the drinks yourselves.

Just mention what you would like when you contact us for a quote.

Do you have set prices?

We know that every event is unique, that is why all of our quotes are bespoke and based on your exact requirements. So please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will get a quote, or two, over to you as soon as possible.

What do you need for cooking space?

We will require a space to cook in. If you are having your event at a venue please make sure that there is a kitchen or prep room that we can use to cook and serve in and that it is safely accessible with heavy equipment. If you are having a marquee event, please ask your marquee supplier to add a minumum 6m x 6m catering extension with opening to the main marquee to your quote.

What power do you require?

We understand that all venues are different so please contact us to discuss power requirements in detail as this is very important. If you are having a marquee event we highly recommend a larger generator than required by your suppliers for peace of mind on the day. We are happy to discuss directly with them.
